Alliance delivery model
The programme is delivered through Anglian Water’s Integrated Metering alliance. Anglian Water sets outcomes, standards and customer requirements, while Kier provides installation capability at scale. Kier’s teams support planning, scheduling and safe delivery on the ground, working to shared objectives that prioritise quality, consistency and customer experience across a large and diverse region.
Installation at scale
More than 1.4 million smart meters have now been installed across the Anglian Water region. Data from the programme has helped identify hundreds of thousands of customer-side leaks and reduce avoidable water loss. Customers can access detailed usage information, helping them understand consumption patterns and take action to reduce waste and bills.
