Welcome to the Haverfordwest Public Transport Interchange project page - your home for updates on the modern public transport interchange being constructed for Haverfordwest, as part of Pembrokeshire County Council's commitment to enhancing the town.
Project overview
The Haverfordwest Public Transport Interchange scheme includes the construction of a three-storey bus station and multi-storey car park, to provide a new interchange provision for buses and coaches, with upgraded passenger facilities and a lightweight photovoltaic support structure.
The proposals, designed by architects BDP, include highway access improvements, revised taxi rank, upgraded replacement cycle routes and linkages, cycle parking, public toilets and a Changing Places facility, electric vehicle charging facilities/connection infrastructure, and the creation of a new public realm as well as green and blue infrastructure.
We are delighted to take part in the construction of the Haverfordwest Public Transport Interchange which will provide a new 'hub' for the community of Pembrokeshire. Kier are focused on delivering a sustainable and high-quality building to Pembrokeshire County Council.
